The first Candyfloss Press books are on their way.
Over the coming months we’ll be heading to Margate for monster romance, settling into a seaside holiday park and revisiting the faded glamour of eighties pop.
Here’s what’s coming.
Monsters of Margate
Suki Strange starts things off on 3 December with The Gargoyle Next Door, the first Monsters of Margate romance.
Judy Carter has bought a dilapidated Victorian house. Sam Beaumont runs the stone yard behind it. He is helpful, handsome and considerably less human than Judy first assumes.
This is high-heat British monster romance, so expect plenty of humour, plenty of heat and a happy ending.
Life at Paradise Park
Daisy Penrose follows on 6 January with Nobody Warned Me About the Seagulls, the first novel in her Life at Paradise Park series.
Lucy Rae arrives at a weathered holiday park on the South Coast with what’s left of her redundancy money and very little idea what she’s going to do next.
Paradise Park, however, is already extremely interested in her.
If you’d like to meet the neighbours first, Before The Seagulls will be free from 1 October when you join Daisy’s newsletter. The prequel begins nine days before Lucy arrives, as the residents clear Pitch 47 and speculate about the woman from Surrey who has bought it.
Fame & Fortune Mysteries
Later in 2027, Kitty Brookstone brings faded eighties pop star Ron Ashcroft and his wife Eva back into the limelight.
The Fame & Fortune Mysteries take Ron and Eva through television studios, celebrity parties, comeback tours and murder.
It turns out getting the band back together may be the least of Ron’s problems.
And that’s only the beginning.
