Candyfloss Press is an independent British publisher. We like good stories, great characters and books that are enormous fun to read.
Our characters have history. Careers that soared, stalled or quietly imploded. Relationships that ended with a solicitor or a suitcase. Families, friendships, triumphs, disasters and plans that didn’t quite work out.
Then something happens.
There might be a mystery to solve, a secret to uncover, a second chance nobody was expecting or an adventure that really wasn’t on the agenda. There may even be a surprisingly attractive monster involved.
We publish cosy mysteries, romantic comedies, family sagas, women’s fiction and thrillers, and a few that defy definition.
Our stories are funny, warm, full of character and often deliciously ridiculous. They’re about everyday people navigating the unexpected turns of life.
Because we like our stories the way we like our fairgrounds: colourful, nostalgic, a little bit thrilling and enormous fun.
There may be bright lights, romance, a ghost train or two, a mystery around the next corner and, of course, something sweet.
Candyfloss, cotton candy to our American friends, seemed the perfect name.
